A beautiful start to 2026 at Kin House

Arriving at Kin House on the morning of this beautiful February wedding felt particularly magical. As we pulled into the driveway and began unloading buckets of flowers, the winter sun appeared for the first time in weeks.
Nestled in the Wiltshire countryside, Kin House is one of the most stylish and characterful wedding venues in the South West. With its elegant interiors, warm atmosphere and beautifully designed spaces, it creates the perfect backdrop for couples wanting a relaxed yet luxurious celebration.
For this wedding, the couple wanted florals that leaned into a rich, romantic palette while still feeling soft, airy and natural a perfect balance for a winter wedding that nodded gently to autumn tones.
Bridal Bouquet
The bridal bouquet featured a colour palette that has become increasingly popular for weddings: deep tones balanced with delicate softness. We worked with shades of soft pink, warm browns, plum and rich burgundy to create depth and interest within the bouquet.
While the colour palette was rich and moody, the overall design remained floaty and organic. Layers of beautiful seasonal flowers and delicate textures allowed the bouquet to feel light, romantic and full of movement. The result was a bouquet that perfectly complemented the bride while still making a statement within the overall floral design of the day.
Buttonholes
To keep a subtle autumnal feel within the floral design, something the couple were really drawn to we incorporated delicate dried elements into the buttonholes.
Bracken added beautiful texture and a slightly wild, natural feel, which worked perfectly alongside the fresh florals. These details looked absolutely exquisite against the groom’s burgundy velvet suit, creating a rich and elegant look.
Family members also wore buttonholes, many styled with velvet jackets that tied beautifully into the overall colour palette of the day.
Ceremony Space
The ceremony took place in the stunning Garden Room at Kin House, and we wanted the floral design to feel both impactful and incredibly romantic.
We created a magnificent broken floral arch that framed the couple during their vows. The scale of the design was truly impressive, abundant in volume while still maintaining a delicate and airy feel. A blend of carefully selected flowers in our romantic winter palette ensured the arch felt soft, layered and beautifully textured.
To complete the ceremony space, we lined the entire aisle with abundant floral meadows. Each meadow was slightly different, allowing the flowers to feel natural and organic, almost as if they had grown there themselves. The result was a breathtaking floral walkway for the bride as she entered the ceremony.

Wedding Breakfast
After the ceremony, the floral designs were thoughtfully repurposed for the wedding breakfast something I always love to do.
The ceremony arch and floral meadows were repositioned around the top table, creating a striking focal point within the room. This helped anchor the space visually while maintaining the lush, abundant feel of the ceremony florals.
Across the round guest tables, delicate bud vases were added to bring subtle pops of colour and texture throughout the room. These small arrangements ensured the floral theme continued beautifully throughout the entire celebration while keeping the tables feeling elegant and uncluttered.

Cake Meadow
Reusing and repurposing florals throughout a wedding day is one of my favourite ways to maximise impact, and for this wedding we had enough floral meadows to create something truly special.
Around the couple’s simple heart-shaped cake, we built a full floral cake meadow. Soft layers of flowers surrounded the cake, creating a romantic garden-like moment that felt abundant, natural and incredibly beautiful.
It was the perfect floral detail to complement the rest of the day’s design.
Thank You
A huge thank you to my wonderful couple for trusting me to create these beautiful florals for their wedding and for such a special moment so early in my 2026 season.
